Challenges of Conflict Resolution

Conflict
resolution between nations is usually approached through normal
diplomatic channels.
However,
efficient and committed these are, there is an increasing recognition
by those involved in the specifics of conflict resolution, that
there is a need for institutions with professional and technical
expertice.
A
cross-disipline environment facilitates the resolution process.
The disiplines needed would include economic, environmental, and
political to enable realistic sustainable solutions to be worked
out.
CESAR
was established to provide such assistance. Since 1993, CESAR has
mainly been involved in the field of international prevention and
resolution of international water resource conflicts.
